Not that I've found, so many of them have just died off and the bigger sites like Reddit just don't feel as personable to me. This place has its whackness for sure but it has more of a community feel than other sites I've tried.

You must be blind or have no humor. I would say 90% of interactions and posts on here are memes funny or sarcastic posts. There's a category "funny" and there's a list of different humor groups. Not sure how one can miss that. 🤔

It's a sign of the time.
Most of us are pretty fed up at the moment.

Work is overbearing; rents are on the rise as are mortgage repayments; inflation means you have less disposable income in your pocket and anything you [b] do [/b] buy is more expensive.

That's stressful enough but when you have expectation from those close to you determined to insist on celebrating Halloween followed by Firework night followed closely by Thanksgiving and shortly afterwards Christmas, hardly surprising that there's a distinct lack of any kind of feel good factor among folk who are just exhausted from all that's gone on this year and just want the world to stop.

Even if it's just long enough to catch your breath and collect your thoughts.
