How do wrestlers not get dizzy?

These poor sweaty lads are all over the place. Boinging off one rope and then the other, doing flips and spins and twirls and all sorts. And they still manage to stand up at the end. At least one of them does. The other fella has to pretend he's hurt, poor lamb.

You might think climate change, but this is wrestling from 1998 and I remember the 90s quite well and dizziness still worked the same then. It's gotta be the 'roids

Also a lot of them are dead now.

I had a grandmother, very religious, not a cuss word ever said, but b put the old motorola on Saturday wrestling and she went wild, Screaming and yelling Kill the other guy. When it was over, tv turns off, Her Bible opens and she goes on reading , quietly, calmly.
The wrestlers were great actors then to

@Suggestmeone Sounds like she knew exactly when god wasn't watching and she could let loose :)
@UpsideOutInsideDown Actually that may be true. Her God was to dignified and proper to be stooping to watch wrestling

I can't tell who the guy in the blue is, but I think he "slammed" his head a little too early lol.
UpsideOutInsideDown · 36-40, M
@SubstantialKick 100%, but to be fair the other guy wasn't known for being too on the ball...it's 50/50 if he'd remember to do it at all!

@SubstantialKick I once saw WWF live at my local ice rink. Each fight lasted exactly 15 minutes. I recall a drop kick that obviously missed by a mile as seen from where we were sitting. It was all good fun though.

It's true about most of them being dead now. I watched it a lot as a kid and most of the ones I knew are either dead or in bad health. Even just today Terry Funk died.

@Mikeawesome1986 Shit, no way? I'm literally watching the Raw's where he started his tag team with Flash Funk (still Scorpio). That's a sad loss

Wrestling is meant to cause injury to one another but some of those guys are in their 50's, and look get tired quickly.

That's the look a guy gets when he needs a nap.

Years of training and practice. They're basically just stunt performers following a semi-choreographed routine.

@MrBrownstone you've got to either be a bot or a deputy headmaster at the second best private school
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@UpsideOutInsideDown says the bot
SW-User
What the hell is he doing. That is hideously unchoreographed.
UpsideOutInsideDown · 36-40, M
@SW-User It's a bit of a shame, really, but the other one is more at fault. He missed the spot, and it was necessary for the rest of match. It meant that Christian had to make himself look stupid for half a second to get it back in line. A bit like a dancing dropping a step to get back in sync
beckys501s · 36-40, F
I've often wondered that. And some of those wrestling matches go on for a while
Jacko1971 · 51-55, M
They are extremely fit guys.
