Do you call custard creams with three biscuits and two layers of cream "triscuits"?

supersnipe · 61-69, M
Only if they're cooked three times

No one in the new world calls a cookie a biscuit. We treat our dogs with biscuits.

If it means anything, my mother was born in London, fathered by a Welshman. My last name is Scottish (of the Fraser clan).

@SW-User That's good. All you need now is a bit of Irish. Failing that, a connection with Liverpool would suffice.

I personally don't, but I can see the logic in it.

imagine shredded wheat cereal with salt and various spices but shaped like a cracker.

They are super dry aren’t too bad with cheese but most of em aren’t that great. 😂
No. Triscuits are healthy crackers here. Very salty. Crunchy.

@PoetryNEmotion I've never been there. I live in England.
@Bewilderbeeste Good for you. I have never been to England. Pedrohedgerow, my dear friend, lives there. He's a sweetheart. Many of your expressions are different. That is a bonus.

Nope
Here in the US, Triscuits are a wheat cracker
What you’re describing is a wafer
Bewilderbeeste · 61-69, M
@TAReturns I didn't know the Americans had heard of the word "triscuit".
Jacko1971 · 51-55, M
Biscuit is from the French meaning twice cooked.
GeniUs · 56-60, M
@Jacko1971 What? Wait what...I'm a straight guy and it turns out I can eat biscuits?
Thodsis · 51-55, M

Bewilderbeeste · 61-69, M
