All American and African accents
@Katie01 Troll lol
Katie01 · F
@RadiantRuby literally just answering the question 😅
Chickie · F
@RadiantRuby the account got reported for being a catfish 😆

Lostpoet · M
I'm not stupid enough to offend someone by answering this.
@Lostpoet Very wise. 😉
Fertilization · 36-40, F
@Lostpoet Very well said.
Magenta · F
@Lostpoet 🤭 I'm just hearting what I agree with.
summersong · F
@MethDozer I always thought that was a joke thing but the principal at my kids’ elementary school was from Boston and the first time she said it out loud I burst out laughing
empanadas · 31-35, M
@summersong I wholeheartedly agree
MethDozer · M
@summersong I probably would to from a principle. To be honest it's a pretty good phrase imho.
In Australia. The further from the coast you wander, the slower ppl talk..

Take a packed lunch if you wanna chat with someone from Alice springs..
REMsleep · 41-45, F
Any accent that is fake. I hate when people put on fancy airs or try to " talk black" for example.
@bijouxbroussard @REMsleep There is apparently a whole subculture among white people now. They've owned the derogatory term "wigger" (with apologies), and they wear baggy clothes and listen to gangsta rap while smoking crack.

Ironically.

I want to punch these people in the face, unironically.
in10RjFox · M
@REMsleep called a "Put on" accent .. like they wear it like a dress to cover their natural self .. 😀
Chickie · F
@REMsleep it's called "black-cent" or "wigga accent"
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
None. It is only prejudice and stereotyping that makes people judge each other so shallowly. All accents are beautiful.
for females ill say irish and for guys apparently its ever accent
Incognitochick · 41-45, F
@Nunlover wow offensive much?
@Incognitochick was it merica that offended you 😔
SW-User
@Nunlover I knew it, you Irish knacker you!!
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@Entwistle what u said none then commented again 😅🤣😂
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@RadiantRuby Yes but my second comment makes it clear that i dont judge the people who have a Birmingham accent as stupid.
Nimbus · M
Scouser (Liverpool)
Entwistle · 56-60, M
I dont like the Birmingham,midlands accents on people. Thats just my prejudice though. I never judge a persons intelligence based on their accent mind.
@Entwistle I was thinking Birmingham when I wrote the question 😂

sounding stupid and being stupid are not the same thing
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@Ozymandiaz Egg Zackly!
hunkalove · 61-69, M
Texas, y'all!
RedBaron · M
The only thing that sounds stupid is judgmental thinking that a particular accent can make a person sound stupid.

Some of our country’s Southern accents can be deceptive. And a lot of people make that work for them.
Muthafukajones · 46-50, M
I liike meee a big sliiiiice of piiiiiiiie@REMsleep
@REMsleep A lot of thick East Louisiana accents in my family. One of my uncles once told me, "When someone underestimates you, it can sometimes be to your advantage."
MethDozer · M
@bijouxbroussard I'm in 100% agreement with your Uncle. I used to get into it with my ex roomate about how you want people to underestimate you.
Dino11 · M
I don't think it's the accent, think it's the person talking.
Madmonk · M
Using large words incorrectly
SW-User
Southern drawl. 🙉
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@SW-User An exaggerated one for sure. A soft one can be rather pleasant.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Southeastern Oklahoma
scorpiolovedeep · 46-50, M
This is posted in ‘fun’ category…

So I would say the post itself is stupid
PinkPunk · F
eastern german or bavarian accents in the german language
@PinkPunk that is oddly specific 😂
SW-User
Not so much an accent but it's more what and how a person says something
NestChicken · 31-35, M
A stupid accent of course
BigImo · 22-25, F
Gotta be American
Chickie · F
@BigImo you guys talk funny too
SW-User
@SW-User hai
Muthafukajones · 46-50, M
Human1000 · M
The American southern accent is the dumbass accent
SW-User
@Human1000 👍
My friend just sent me a text; she was at Safeway and speaking to her mother in Gaelic on her phone, briefly. When she hung up, a woman standing nearby asked, "So what part of Scotland are you from ?" My friend replied, "The Irish part !" and kept walking.
Chickie · F
The good old thick or strong south drawl. I don't know why but it gets on my nerves and I don't know what people are saying half of the time.

English/British/Posh accents too
Azlotto · M
Mine. I'm from Kentuuky y'all.
SW-User
Lmao, Cork or Kerry boy!
Incognitochick · 41-45, F
@SW-User Kerry yes
SW-User
@SW-User yeah they sing, not talk, very high pitched 😅😅
SW-User
@SW-User A lot of people struggled to understand him. I was sharing a house with some guys from Derry at the time. Going home was like the sublime to the ridiculous 🤣
Some southern accents. Jeff Foxworthy did a whole bit about how you wouldn't want to get brain surgery from a southerner.

Please bear in mind, I'm not saying y'all are actually dumb. I never would assume based on regional dialect.
@LordShadowfire I thought most people would realise that one doesn't make the other but, apparently not from some of these comments, so thank you for the clarification.
empanadas · 31-35, M
Those bayou mofos...most importantly Boston. It makes me think of Peter Griffin
empanadas · 31-35, M
@SW-User god I visit my family up there, all I can think about is peter Griffin and Louis annoying voice
empanadas · 31-35, M
@bijouxbroussard not sure if you saw my reply but I asked is it different for normal accents down there vs the thick moonshines backwoods .. basically what people think when they hear bayou
@empanadas Yes, you’re right it is different. Cajun is different from Creole, too.
MethDozer · M
Boston, Brooklyn, New Jersey

@MethDozer Minnesota doesn't so brilliant either don't cha know
MethDozer · M
