What accent makes a person sound stupid?

Some southern accents. Jeff Foxworthy did a whole bit about how you wouldn't want to get brain surgery from a southerner.

Please bear in mind, I'm not saying y'all are actually dumb. I never would assume based on regional dialect.

@LordShadowfire I thought most people would realise that one doesn't make the other but, apparently not from some of these comments, so thank you for the clarification.
