Well, it feels special, but it creates false expectations and it doesn't last. So, at some point it becomes a weight around you ankle... like being chained to a bowling ball.

My parents never had favorites. None of my family ever considered me the favorite although growing up I was the only girl for a very long time in my extended family so there are loads of pictures of me compared to everyone else.

It really depends who's favoring you. It can be wonderful or terrifying
