Have you let go of a friend which felt like the right thing to do at the time, but regretted it later?

Yes, he tried to jump out of the window so I grabbed him by the trousers and held on to him. He was quite heavy so I let him go...it was not much of a fall, 12' or so but I am sure he learned a lot from the experience.

I’ve only let go in that I was let go first
There was no point in holding onto the hope/chance, it would change

No but I have had people that go of me before. And I did not hang around long enough to find out if they regret it or not. Because once they cut me loose I am gone

Just one but I didn’t intentionally let go. I moved far away and I lost contact with her as I had another baby and I had three year old twins. It was hard for me and I basically didn’t find time to call.

And then when I did call about six months later She freaked out on me and told me what a shitty friend I am for not phoning her for six months and I tried to explain my situation and she wouldn’t accept it.

So that told me that that’s not even the type of friend that I want to have because I never put limitations on my friends on how often they’re supposed to call me

No. I don’t give up on people easily, so when it happens it’s only because nothing else worked out.

No. If I make a decision like that there will be no regrets. I sure must have a good reason.
