I have cold showers in the summer. They are deeply unpleasant first thing in the morning, but they help me to regulate my body temperature more efficiently in the hot weather and they seem to have a positive effect in managing pain from an old injury.

I work a lot, but I make time every single morning, before breakfast, for a workout. In the summer I’ll do 30-45 minutes on the elliptical and then a 10-15 minute cool down swim.

No am on a Pitman / Panama shift pattern fixed to day time. Although after freshening up we have to do mandatory 5 prayers. But on work days it's before 5am and off days 8 or even 9.30!
