My beloved, even though we didn't interact while we were in high school despite being in the same grade and having several class together. In fact, we didn't really get to know each other until years after we graduated. Then there's people I knew in high school who are still around, but they're more my sister's friends and not really my friends.

Funnily enough, my sister actually was friends with my man when they were in high school. Had I known me and him would end up together later in life, I would have tried getting to know him back then. 😕

I had frequent contact with one close friend, but he died a few years ago. I have occasional contact with a couple more. All are at least 800 miles away, so it is difficult to maintain much of a relationship. My wife still has regular contact with a few of her friends.

I have some friends I keep in touch with ....they are more acquaintances though. My HS best friend and college roommate kinda went our separate ways a few years ago. She became someone who had very different morals (or lack thereof) and I no longer cared to keep her as a friend.
