My car, I used to drive a pickup truck and at least once a month someone wanted to borrowit to move something.

Anything of sentimental value

Anything I care about. 🤣 Unless it is one of the few trusted people I'm very close to, I simply don't trust that A) it will be returned to me in the condition it was lent to them in, and in a timely manner, or B) returned at all. I've been down this road enough times that I'm extremely hesitant to lend anything out anymore.

Time, affection, loyalty? Ive had enough of that abuse thank you 🙏

I would be uncomfortable letting someone borrow my phone or car.

Vehicle or tools, they have always come back broken and damaged.

It depends entirely upon the person. I have friends I who are clumsy, so anything easily damaged or lost like fishing equipment is a no. Then there are those who borrow, but tend not to return.

My precious knives. People tend to misuse them and ruin there edge somehow.

I do lend money but its more a gift b/c they can repay,"when they can" including forever

I lend a lot of books to friends, but there are a few special ones that I don't like to lend.

Tools. I refuse to now. I just say i don't have a (whatever tool they need).
Ive had thousands of dollars of equipment flipping wrecked over the years .
