Guys and Gallant men of SW: did you ever do sleepovers as a kid?

On behalf of a mom of a son I can tell you it happens, they usually played videogames and messed up my kitchen, until they were older teens and then said sleepover were gay .....lol

Yes I did. My best friend had a pool. Sometimes we would go swimming. Sometimes we would camp out in his back yard. On those nights we would walk around the neighborhood. There was one house with a good garden. Sometimes we would steal a cucumber to snack on. When we got back sometimes we would skinny dip. During the winter months we would just watch TV. His two sisters would watch TV with us. Sorry. Nothing more exciting than that.

Not so much sleeping at their house but we built camps out in the woods and slept in the often during the summer and even a few times in the winter. One of the camps was built with new lumber we were given by a lumber yard that had a fire. We had to cut the burnt parts off. The camp had two stories, some windows, bunk beds, quite luxurious. Lol

We used to camp out in our yards. We lived in a rural area that was being developed. They had all the infrastructure in but only a few houses. We saw the police at one of the houses late one night so we went and raided some gardens for tomatoes. When the cops got in their cars to leave we bombarded them with tomatoes. Then we would jump down in the storm drains and pop up on the other side of the street and bomb them again. We kept doing that for about 45 min till we finally got bored with it and went home . They were still looking for us when we left.

I'd gone for the weekend a couple of times at Michelle's and her Cousin Jared's. They lived out on the farm and were close to each other so we all hung out at both times. Being farm kids they knew how to drive a car and we'd take the Ute to the beach. Go swimming. We'd play board games and do farm stuff.
When they visited me. We'd explore the beach. Go swimming, Play video games and Board games.

1. Once behind my father's place. We played group monopoly all night! Two monopoly boards ! 🙃😊

2. My dad as well invited a friend to go with us once for a overnight stay at the Biltmore hotel in the late 60s.

We visited some museums there.

His mother and my father were as well friends.

3. One more time was a group campout for my senior year of highschool to Anza-Borrego Desert.

That was a German club school thing however.

The first and third times were mixed genders.

One time 2 of us stayed over at another friend's house. We jumped on the bed in our underwear singing along to Beatles songs. Lol. Good times.

I stayed with my cousin one summer abd one night we slept out in the backyard.
We sneaked down the road to the gas station with a bottle opener and opened a couple of bottles in the pop machine and drank it somehow.
That wasn't enough mischief so we sneaked into the house and got a handful.of eggs and egged a passing car.
It was a village of only a couple hundred at most so it didnt tsje a genius to figure out who the culprits were. Yeah, we soent half the next day [i]trying[/i] to wash dried up egg off a neighbor's car. ☹️

'Make-up' (in the loosest sense of the word), board games, telling each other ghost stories, dancing to the Spice Girls . . 😅

Read "stolen porn mags" ( mild by today) ate junk food, pulled pranks on neighbours etc.

A couple of times till we were caught drinking beer, clinking bottles gave us away 🤣

I did. A few times. Best moments of my childhood

Played games and talked about girls. Lol.

4 of us camped in Whitby Abbey graveyard an owl was towitawooing for ages ,that and the ghost stories we were told by an old Gypsy woman who suddenly appeared out of the dark 😳 it was rather scary. Then her husband and son were calling for her in the distance and they came into view ,they were proper Romany.

I only remember a few sleep overs, mostly eating junk food and reading comic books. Mostly we had sleep outs either in the backyard or in the woods. The usual thing was to clear a space for the 9X9 canvas tent from Sears away from the houses.

No never stayed over at a friends house it wasnt really a thing lads did in my day, but then again a lot of my friends were part of large families so their parents had enough without amy other kids staying over 🤣

I did! We snuck out the house in middle school late at night, it was really fun.

Sleepovers were never really a thing for me growing up

Yes and I swear I saw an alien in one of the sleepovers.

We usually kept each other up, bullshitting the whole night. It's a wonder my folks didn't come downstairs and blowtorch all of us.
