@pearllederman

Miklee02 · 51-55, F
No! But I’ve been taken for granted a few times 😕
@Miklee02

I’m so very sorry to hear that … you definitely don’t deserve that .. 🌹😘
Livingwell · 61-69, M
@Miklee02 I'm sorry someone would do that to you. 🤗🤗🤗
GlitterEater · 36-40, F
In the sense that I've lost friends who I never imagined would die young.
@Elisbch

Oh my God!! That’s indeed a sad sad loss … I’m so very sorry that you lost her, yet, you should consider yourself lucky to have has such a wonderful friend in your life …

RIP …
Elisbch · M
@Soossie .. Thank you Soossie,...Oh I do... nearly every day. 😊 I know it sounds weird but sometimes I still talk to her. 🙂
@Elisbch

Nothing wrong with that … 🤗
Would never do that.
@LadyGrace

I know … you’re a wonderful lady … 🌹
@Soossie 🌹🤗💝

@Soossie Thanks
elafina · 36-40, F
Recently a friend messaged me saying something like "I am a bit inconsistent but we're not going to loose contact anyways" and usually I kept lots of relationships like this... But this time I replied "not so sure" and closed the case within me..
@elafina

I, myself have learnt to be more selective about the people that I keep in my life and that’s not a bad thing … 🤗🌹
Pfuzylogic · M
Did take his girlfriend.
I know …“bad friend”!
Pfuzylogic · M
@Soossie
He set the whole conversation up about how he wanted to fight and would I back him up.
The girl was very cute but ended after a week when I wasn’t entertaining.
@Pfuzylogic

She definitely wasn’t worth losing a friend … but we all do things that can hurt a friend …
Pfuzylogic · M
@Soossie
We were still friends.
He learned you don’t have me jump into the sleeping bag with your girlfriend.
Explorer · 41-45, M
Yes. I had taken my own wife then ( now ex) for granted and I deeply regret it. However that experience has taught me a valuable lesson in life.
@Explorer

I’m so sorry to hear this …
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
Yes when I was in my late teens and totally feel terrible about it. 😞
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
@Soossie I was really crappy though. ☹️
I would love the opportunity to apologize to her, but will never happen.
@Jeephikelove

I hope she has already forgiven and forgotten … when we’re young, we do many things that we regret later … 🌹
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
@Soossie true
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
I actually don't even know. I just know I've never fought for anyone's friendship. I always appreciated everyone who gave me their attention and company but when they were gone that was it. Sometimes you have someone to talk to and laugh with, other times you don't. I'm surprised how many friends I actually had considering how little I invested in them.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Soossie Of course but I'm not sure how you mean it. How they felt in those moments when we were together or how they felt about our friendship?
@CrazyMusicLover

About their well-being …
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Soossie yes
Musicman · 61-69, M
Not to my knowledge, but I have definitely been taken for granted.
@Musicman hmmmm....me too, but that only happens one time. 😂
@Musicman

I’m so sorry to hear that … you definitely deserve better .. 🤗🤗
Musicman · 61-69, M
@Soossie Thank you very much 😊
Elisbch · M
No, I haven't and I wouldn't. I haven't had that many. Good friends are too hard to find. 😕
@Elisbch

Very true … and when we find them, we’d better keep them for as long as we can ..
Elisbch · M
@Soossie .. Absolutely 🙂
Notanymore · 36-40, M
I think anyone that says they've never are probably overlooking times when they did, else they were completely oblivious to taking another person for granted, which may be worse. I've honestly done it more than once and often times it eats at me. I've also randomly realized time and again, the times when I may have or definitely did take someone for granted without consideration of the fact.
@Notanymore

Most people do it intentionally … but some plan it and do it so easily … that’s heartbreaking …
Notanymore · 36-40, M
@Soossie it's definitely heartbreaking, and there's definitely people in the world who choose their friends strictly based on the benefit offered.
RedBaron · M
I’ve taken friends for lunch or dinner, but never granted! 🤣🤣
@RedBaron

I see .. 😂
Nebula · 41-45, F
Yeah and yeah 🫤
@Nebula

Do you think you will do it again ??
smiler2012 · 56-60
[@soosie] no not my way i respect friendship and would never take advantage of that
smiler2012 · 56-60
[@soosie] only kidding 😆we can enjoy banter especially when it is directed towards ned and nimby and the second best team in manchester
@smiler2012

Lol … only the second best in Manchester … 😂
smiler2012 · 56-60
@Soossie 😆well alright if bury had not gone bust and oldham where still in the football league that would make united the fourth best team in manchester lol sorry if rochdale like oldham where still in the football league that would relegate them too the sixth best team in manchester as there also salford in league two lol
Ducky · 31-35, F
Several times, yes. Lesson learned. Now I don't keep any friends further than I can throw them. When they inevitably stray, oh well. It was always going to happen eventually.
@Ducky

That happens to most of us and as long as we don’t do it intentionally, then the lesson might be worth it ..🌹
@Jenny1234

Glad to hear ..
jamie79 · 46-50, F
I don’t know if taking the friendship for granted is the right term, but I definitely did not show her the respect and consideration she deserves. 😔
@jamie79

I don’t think that you took her for granted … It might have been just some careless act …
Adogslife · 61-69, M
No, never. I keep my circle of friends very small. If we’re tight, I’ve got your back no matter what.
@Adogslife

That’s wonderful … that’s the way all friendships should be …
Adogslife · 61-69, M
@Soossie including here. 😉
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
Yes recently and luckily I didn't lose them as a friend 😢
@DeluxedEdition

Aww!! I’m sure it wasn’t intentionally .. that’s why they’re still there … 🌹🌹
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@Soossie I'm so glad I didn't lose her seriously never take your friends for granted

It's not easy to just go out and make friends especially really good genuine people
@DeluxedEdition

You’re right about that … I’m glad that she is an understanding friend to you ..
novaguy2u · 70-79, M
No, but I've had it happen to me in the past. Maybe I was too trusting.
@novaguy2u

That’s why as we get older we know better …
novaguy2u · 70-79, M
@Soossie That's for sure. It's a shame that it takes so long. 😆
@novaguy2u

Very true … if only we could learn it when we were younger …
Eddiesolds · 61-69, M
No. I couldnt do that.
@Eddiesolds

I know dear Eddie … so good to see you … 🤗🤗
Eddiesolds · 61-69, M
@Soossie Thankyou Soossie. Its so nice to see you too. Thankyou!🤗🤗🤗
🤔
Not that I can recall 💁‍♂️
@Soossie I’m always good 🤭
Learned not to....
@SatyrService

Aww!! That’s a good lesson learnt in a hard way …
@Soossie I went to Knocks University
Khenpal1 · M
yes , when I was younger.
@Khenpal1

I can understand … when we’re young, we think less about other people’s feelings ..
calicuz · 51-55, M
No, I don't think I have.
@calicuz

Glad to hear … it’s better that we be incapable of things like that …
Kazuya69 · 31-35, M
Not so far.
@Kazuya69

Good … I hope never …
@DreamyCrush

Aww!! Sorry to hear ..
@BizSuitStacy

We all probably have …
RuyLopez · 56-60, M
@RuyLopez

Lol … smh … ❤️
I don’t have so many that I can afford to do that. But I have lost track of people when life interfered, often what they were involved with. And I have wished I’d been more assertive in reaching out. 🥺
@bijouxbroussard

That’s me too … I know exactly what you mean .. ❤️🌹
@Elanor

That’s wonderful … 🌹
