Would you be friends with a person with a disability?

I have a disability it doesn't stop me from making friends and such

Absolutely I already have disabled friends. I have many friends who have Mental disabilities and even physical disabilities. I would never think to treat any human any less than human.

Why would someone having a disability prevent you being friends with them?

I have a friend she had meningitis she lost both her legs from the knee and one arm from the elbow. She was a teacher and when she was strong again she went back to school. She is funny and grate to be around

I believe no one is disabled.
But yeah some people are differently abled.

I have a mate with a disability. I dont pity him at all though as i think more highly of him to even have that type of feeling towards him

Really trying to be someone’s friend sounds creepy. You are either friends, or you are not, regardless of who the person is, or whatever afflictions they have, or do not have.

Blind , wheelchair bound , closed head injury , battle field trauma? Yep they are sweet

Yes. I was good friends with a guy with Autism once. He was high functioning but could be a little exhausting sometimes. He's a really great guy though...I should reconnect one day

There I would have a hard time being friends with them. Then I'd fret I am being like their superficiality .... Oh NO! I have become just like THEM!?

Depends on what the disability is. If the person is like blind or deaf or in a wheel chair thats ok. But if theyre seeing demons and chewing thier lips off then no im good.

I wouldn’t not befriend someone because of a disability. My criteria is that we get along and I enjoy talking with or being with them. Nothing else really matters.
