Is there anybody under the age of 60 out there that enjoys the 'Taste of Liquorice'😲?

Am under 60 and a big fan of liquorice. Not just the flavor, but the texture.
Texture makes or breaks a lot of flavors for me.

I love it. Good quality licorice is my favorite sweet. The waxy cheap stuff flavored witb anise instead of a tual licorice though is kind of meh. Example being black Twizzlers.

A lot of people say anise and locorice taste the same, and they're indeed similar but I stand firm there is a difference. Anise is kind of harsh and taste like it is missing something compaired to licorice. Licorice has more character and has more depth

I have a packet of Liquorice Humbugs in my Backpack. My favourite brand of Liquorice sherbets was discontinued earlier this year. 😿

I prefer savoury things to sweets but I do like good quality liquorice.

Modern liquorice just isn’t the same as those sticks we got in the olden days.

It is the best candy to have on you because you can gracefully offer anyone around a piece, smugly knowing you'll get to keep it all for yourself.
