Oh yes it is! It’s a real thing on the bay 😉

@TexChik Everything tastes better afloat or shore-side. :)

@sarabee1995 it does! Mac’s cooking out there hits the spot .

The inspection crew is here today testing everyone's fire alarm. They have been setting off the alarms since 8 a.m. I would love to go back to sleep, but I can't. When I woke up today I was coughing so hard and so long I could barely get the medicine I bought two days ago into my mouth, and it took an hour to start to help me.

I was supposed to get to the lab for a fasting blood test, but I was coughing so hard I would not have been able to drive, and the medicines contain sugar.

@Stereoguy I called last week and my primary care's office had NO appointments available. They told me to go to urgent care. I called my insurance, and together the copay for the visit at urgent care and copay for an xray was going to be $55. This week, I have a long standing appointment for my bi-annual physical, and there is no copay for that...so I can ask for antibiotics.

@Stereoguy Not really a good man, just cut from a different kind of stone compared to many of the younger generations.

Im camping right now. So i reckon i will be "out" for breakfast. Soon there will be potatoes, bacon, eggs and whatnot, all wrapped up for a tasty burrito.

I would love to go out to breakfast but being gluten-free is not that easy to find good food. I can have eggs but they are too easy to make at home.

@Stereoguy Change of scenery yeah. But it takes the fun out of going out to eat if I am limited to something I can make at home. I remember going to diners (rarely) when I was young and it was a treat to be able to order something we didn’t get at home.

Bob Evans Restaurant and I would have coffee eggs bacon toast and a blue berry muffin.
WillaKissing · 56-60
@Stereoguy No, that would take serious courage. Maybe on a vacation in an area where my dressing was openly accepted.

When I’m up, I’m up. But some mornings breakfast can take a bit to sound appetizing. Honestly I’m not a going out for breakfast type of person. Homemade and enjoyed on the deck as a cool breeze blows through the steam of a hot cup of Joe sounds so much better to me.

Most places near me serve breakfast all day so I can go back to sleep for at least an hour then do breakfast
