I love being a carnivore

I only eat meat, fish, and eggs. No dairy, even though some carnivores indulge and it tastes oh so good, but I can't tolerate it myself. I drink tons of water and have one cup of black coffee every morning to get my day started. I absolutely love it! I've been doing it for the past year and my body has never felt better. My autoimmune diseases are finally all in remission when nothing else has ever worked. I started this diet right after developing a terminal illness and any time I stop doing it, my illness gets much worse very quickly, and starts improving again when I get back to carnivore. It's a big part of why I'm still alive right now! And it brought me out of acute heart failure when medications alone were not enough. My vitamin and electrolyte deficiencies are gone. I can think clearly. My mental and physical health are drastically improved on this diet, it's the #1 most lifechanging thing I have ever experienced. The best tasting, most energizing meal is a raw little filet mignon just seared for a minute on each side.

I was skeptical at first because it's always repeated as common sense that vegetables and fruit are good for you and necessary, but it turns out that all plant chemicals and carbohydrates actually DO hurt my body, I had no idea just how much until I tried eating this way and was suddenly no longer sick! Some people are very against eating this way and I can't understand why, plenty of people have asked me how I got to look so much better and become so much healthier but then once I tell them they get mad and promise me I "will" start getting worse from it instead someday, and I must add some "health foods" like cereal and beans back into my diet LOL 🤣🤣 forever patiently waiting for that day to come. I don't care if the bread is whole grain, it gives me arthritis, fibromyalgia, interstitial cystitis, gastroparesis, lupus, IBS, eczema, makes my autism symptoms and mental health much worse. Meat only heals my body and brain to the fullest extent possible. Doctor Shawn Baker's book is practically the Bible on this way of eating, it's very informative and I highly recommend it to anyone who's interested in learning about this!
Everything you said is 100% true!

I really hope you're legit and not a troll, because there are very many people, myself included, that need lots and lots of meat to be healthy. If I didn't have meat almost every day, I'd be sickly.
I also know there are those that thrive on vegetables, and good for them. But don't judge us protein types, it's literally what we need to be healthy
@Howudoin it's very much legitimate. She's telling the truth. I have been on this diet.
angoranimi · 22-25, F
@Howudoin I am legit! I'd honestly credit this diet with saving my life, I don't think I would still be here right now without it
Howudoin · 41-45, M
@angoranimi thank you, that's really great! Without meat, I'd be in a hospital with them telling me all sorts of bizarre things
PoeticPlay · 51-55, M

I approve this uplifting message.
My best wishes and thoughts for your health my lady.
angoranimi · 22-25, F
@PoeticPlay thank you!
I enjoy a rare steak every so often too…
DailyFlash · 56-60, M
Good luck! My brother lost a lot of weight on carnivore.
angoranimi · 22-25, F
@DailyFlash I did too! I lost 50 pounds and have kept it all off, so I have no extra weight at all anymore
DailyFlash · 56-60, M
@angoranimi it's the simplest way of eating no carbs.
angoranimi · 22-25, F
@DailyFlash yes I agree! It's so silly to me when people say "eat in moderation" to stay healthy and prevent disease. Rather than making the effort to figure out how many chocolate-covered almonds I can eat before I start to feel like crap, why not simply stop eating anything that makes me feel that way at all? I have never felt badly after eating a nice big steak. If I eat one pound of fresh meat, I feel fantastic. Sit down and eat one whole pound of literally anything else? Likely going to feel terrible for the next day or two. It also gets rid of the stress of cooking/meal planning, I don't have to spend time and money prepping whole recipes, just cooking meat is very straightforward and easy!

I’m glad you’ve found what your body needs.
Lilymoon · F
I find that really hard to believe lol
Lilymoon · F
@LadyGrace thank you I doubt I'd be able to do it though....I'm struggling to gain weight
angoranimi · 22-25, F
@Lilymoon eating carnivore sounding too difficult to you personally doesn't make other people's experiences with it false though! It definitely is a huge lifestyle change that many people just aren't interested in making because other foods do taste really good lol. Nobody has to do anything they don't want to, I'm just sharing my experience. For me, I do not have an option to eat other things because my physical health deteriorates way too much for it to be worth it at all. If you're struggling to gain weight I would suggest combining carbs/sugar with fat together in your meals! Carbohydrates (which all break down into sugar) is what triggers the body to store the nutrients you're eating as fat, and when you add actual fat to the mix too, you get additional weight gain, this is the reasoning behind why eating fast food causes people to gain weight- they formulate it specifically to have that addictive, heavy combination of fat and carbohydrates. Without the addition of carbs to trigger storage, fat will be used as energy on the spot instead in the form of ketones rather than being stored as weight gain. Good luck and I hope you can get to the healthy weight you're aiming for!
@angoranimi youve done your research
Havesomefun2 · 56-60, M
Well for me it’s not a lot of vegetables
SinlessOnslaught · 26-30, M
So animals probably see you as a demon who's out to consume their meat so you can look younger and healthier. 🤔
SinlessOnslaught · 26-30, M
@angoranimi Yeah I get what you're saying.
angoranimi · 22-25, F
@SinlessOnslaught I've always loved animals myself. Always have kept at least one pet. I think I would really have a hard time hunting or raising my own food though. I believe the most ethical and humane way is to raise kill and eat your own livestock, the animals have the best and healthiest lives possible that way, MUCH more ethical compared to standard factory farming. But I think I would definitely get attached to the animals I raise, I would end up seeing them as pets and not want to eat them. So I'm very thankful to butchers for doing the job for me! Lol

Goodluckwiththat · 56-60, M
@angoranimi you should look into Wim Hof!
angoranimi · 22-25, F
@Goodluckwiththat thanks I will!
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Goodluckwiththat I do wim hof, it's very useful
redredred · M
No fruits, vegetables or grains?
angoranimi · 22-25, F
@redredred unfortunately that's not true for me. I've lived my whole life in this body, I've had autoimmune diseases my entire life, and the only thing that keeps me healthy, free of inflammation and chronic pain is carnivore diet. I become physically disabled and in more pain worse and worse the longer I go eating things that aren't meat. Trust me, I've spent more time than you can imagine figuring out what exactly does and doesn't cause me to react lol. It's ALL carbohydrates, plus certain proteins like the ones in dairy, soy, grains, etc. It's obviously some sort of metabolic/autoimmune syndrome, I was born this way, and will always be like this. If I had the choice to eat other things I obviously would, I love the taste of dairy and all these other foods I can't have, but it's legit not an option for me. It destroys my body and brain. My body cannot effectively use glucose as a fuel and relies on ketones to function properly. Grains, fruits and vegetables are NOT good for everyone. Grains are actually not good for anybody at all, unless you're severely underweight and need to gain quickly. That's the entire purpose of grain, as a fattener for livestock. Grains are inflammatory, manmade and not a real food. Fruits and vegetables may have some nutritional benefit for some people but it's definitely very overstated, they're not nearly as nutritionally important as they have everyone believing, they are not a requirement to survive and thrive at all if you're eating an appropriate meat diet which is the most nutritionally superior way of eating. I'm nowhere near the only person out there like this, I have come across thousands of other people online who are just like me, who have no choice but to eat a carnivore diet because of aggressive autoimmune diseases that don't respond to anything else.

I disagree with the "everything in moderation" to be healthy saying. Eating in moderation will lead to a moderate amount of chronic disease. I feel it does not make any sense to spend the time and effort figuring out how many chocolate covered almonds I can eat before I start to feel like crap. If something makes you feel bad in ANY amount, it's not meant to be ingested at all. I have never in my life felt badly after eating a pound of steak or other meat, but if I ate a pound of literally anything else I'd feel super sick for the rest of the day, so would many other people. Just some food for thought
redredred · M
@angoranimi you’ll see
angoranimi · 22-25, F
@redredred okay 👍🏼🤣
I posted an image of a rare steak. I also periodically make a healthy dish. In this case a parfait.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@soar2newhighs Rare steak is healthy, it has more than just protein

Seems strange but everyone is different i guess

I say to each their own lol
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
I've considered trying it, but I do worry about the cholesterol and long term cancer risks. I've gone keto though for about the past month and plan to keep at it for another two months or so before transitioning to whole foods.
angoranimi · 22-25, F
@ViciDraco it sure does raise cholesterol but my understanding is that carnivores don't build arterial plaques from the high cholesterol levels, that only happens in people with insulin resistance and inflammation. My cholesterol stays 250-300 and when they do my CT scans there are no plaques in my arteries. I have heard the same from many long-term carnivores their cholesterol has been high for years or even decades because that's the normal biological response to only eating meat, your cholesterol level WILL always be higher because you're ingesting way more of it than before, but that's not necessarily harmful for everyone, and when they get CT scans there are no plaques in their arteries either. I have yet to find a single person who has developed heart disease or any other illness from following this diet, the only thing that seems to happen medically is changed in lipid panel results but the changes don't appear to be harmful. Cholesterol is actually a vital nutrient for your brain and body, it's extremely important for proper brain function. There's no reason to be scared of it, people have been mislead to believe it's unhealthy when it's not
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@LadyGrace I haven't seen cardiologists really changing their tunes. I've seen endocrinologists and people who work with insulin resistance and diabetes suggesting it may be beneficial though.
angoranimi · 22-25, F
@ViciDraco the new cardiologist I just met last week who is taking over monitoring my heart failure, has told me to remain on this diet if it is what helps me, because I live in this body and know best what helps and what hurts it. I think it confused him, but I'm glad he at least understands that my experience is real instead of dismissing it like some other doctors try to. Going back onto carnivore diet brought my heart failure enzyme BNP down by 126 points in less than a month and has allowed my condition to become actually manageable when the furosemide medication alone wasn't controlling my symptoms. I wasn't even able to walk up a flight of stairs a few weeks ago or stand up while showering, but the other day I was walking around carrying my 25 pound baby for quite a while I was really surprised how long I was able to keep it up!
angoranimi · 22-25, F
@C11111111111111 looks delicious!
Hanginginthere · 31-35, M
you'll regret it soon, too much cholesterol..
angoranimi · 22-25, F
@Hanginginthere luckily, cholesterol becoming higher on a carnivore diet is not dangerous to the health. I will be just fine 😊 but even if higher cholesterol was a risk for me, I would still choose to eat this way anyways, due to the many amazing health benefits it's had for me. I would gladly choose keeping my autoimmune diseases in remission any day even if there was a higher risk of having a heart attack years into the future
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@angoranimi I actually want high cholesterol. I just don't want high cholesterol with high blood insulin levels.

@TylertTheGoalie Lol well you could just talk to her without telling her it's BS. Maybe she can glance at those channels I mentioned. Who knows.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@TylertTheGoalie I should also mention that she isn't necessarily full of bs, people just have been indoctrinated to believe you have to have them or you'll die. You can have veggies sure, you just don't need them there's a difference.
