Not my style. They had samples at walmart. I didnt know it was hot and the sample lady was so apologetic lol.
bijouxbroussard · F
@Selah Oh, yikes !
Mamapolo2016 · F
@Selah Sample lady better disclose at the beginning or she'll find herself staked over an anthill doused in the product she's pushing!
assemblingaknob · 31-35, F
@Selah why? Wouldn't it be akin to what spicy honey chicken tastesy like?
Mamapolo2016 · F
Nope. I don't trust anybody armed with habanero flakes.

@bijouxbroussard Did you try it?
bijouxbroussard · F
@Mamapolo2016 No, I was considering whether or not to buy it.
Mamapolo2016 · F
@bijouxbroussard As long as it was a brief episode, you'll be fine as paint.
SubstantialKick · 36-40, M
That would probably be really good on some chicken 😋.
bijouxbroussard · F
@SubstantialKick I could definitely see that. 🍗🍯
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
They do a habanero jam at a burger place called gbk here and it is sooo good.
This might be good too.

bijouxbroussard · F
@Mellowgirl That definitely sounds like it would be good on burgers !
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@bijouxbroussard according to the guy I'm seeing "Jam on a burger? It's so wrong!" he obviously never heard of IKEA and their meatballs 😂😂😂
Carla · 61-69, F
Ive had hot honey but i don't believe the hot came from habanero. I liked it on chicken.
I don't care for habanero chilii flavor though.

I would be willing to try it. I might be more willing to add it as an ingredient to a glaze/ marinade though
Piper · 61-69, F
I have not. I'd be willing to try it on something, but I'm pretty habanero peppers are a tad too hot for me. 🫠
spjennifer · 61-69, T
I received a bottle of a similar product as a Christmas present last year, tasted it once or twice, not for me. I like hot and spicy and love honey but the 2 together don't do it for me, same with sweet and sour and honey garlic. Keep them separate!
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
Well I certainly haven't tried honey with habanero. Yet I do occasionally use habanero in my own guacamole. It really doesn't take much. One is more than enough. Half of one better.
Wear gloves when cutting fresh habanero BTW. And don't use the seeds!

Sounds like a great combo I'll see where I can get this around here.
With what though?

bijouxbroussard · F
@assemblingaknob Someone mentioned as a marinade for chicken dishes, which sounded rather promising.
Pfuzylogic · M
I would definitely try it.
It does seem to have unlimited possibilities!

I'm not really a fan of sweet+hot. 🤔
deadgerbil · 26-30, M
Nah I want to enjoy my honey not have my mouth burn
bijouxbroussard · F
@deadgerbil Fair enough.
It's the thing atm. Not tried that brand, but hot honey is lovely on certain foods.
@DeWayfarer ok
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@V00doo just looked it up. And it does say that as a glaze it does taste different.
@DeWayfarer Honey is more floral. But guess it depends on the type you use.
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
I don't think so
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
I'd definitely try it.
Renaci · 36-40
Not that one but I do like cinnamon honey. And I'd try this. Spicy honey is a win in my book
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
No because I think pepper is hot lol
