Why say tomato ketchup and not just ketchup? What else would it be.

I actually make curry ketchup. Love it on fries and hotdogs etc ( I'm in US)

I lived close enough to Canadia that their fine cuisine rubbed off on me: Poutine!!! (Gravy and Cheese Curds)

Garlic sauce, Garlic chili cause, Vinegar, A good mustard...yellow mustard. Really, anything but ketchup - it's too sweet. But fry sauce which has ketchup in it, is also a fine choice.

I have had french fries in many different forms. I've had them where we used to pour in the ketchup in a paper bag and then shake it around that way the fries got soaked sometimes a bit much.

I watched pulp fiction one night and someone I got some fries, I got a package of mayo, actually several. I then tried it and believe it or not it is really tasty it's very similar to having JoJo's with ranch dressing.

And then of course there were times where I would get my fries I would have a chocolate shake or vanilla but I prefer chocolate, but I would dip them in the chocolate shake and wow salty fries with chocolate damn yeah that's pretty close to an orgasm in my book.

And sauces either ketchup or spicy ketchup

I’ll have a few with ketchup sometimes, but the best fries are plain out of the bag while driving. 😂

We only have fries (homemade) once in a while and I usually eat plain.

Depends upon the type...

I prefer them just salted. I have tried them with ketchup and with vinegar (I learned about the latter when visiting Canada), but I prefer them dry.

Fries = salt, occasionally mayo
UK chips = salt n vinegar n Heinz tomato ketchup, occasionally salt n vinegar n chip shop curry sauce
