How about another option "I am from Britain and I can't stand chips/fries.?

@autumngirl27 If I hear one of my friends say "Chippy tea on Friday, it's the law" once more, I'm going to go through all the laws in statute to prove otherwise! Mind you, I'd probably be old and grey by then....but it'll be worth it!
