A weird cooking question…

You have a Korean rice dish and it needs something, like sauce.
What you have available is:
Teriyaki
Soy
A soy-teriyaki blend
Sweet and sour
Sesame oil

Which would you add ?

Soy-teriyaki blend
@WaryWitchWandering No ginger.

@bijouxbroussard if you like heat maybe add a lil garlic powder and some red pepper flakes with the soy-teriyaki
@DearAmbellina2113 Thank you, I used that and it turned out well.

I would go with the Teriyaki & Sesame Oil. The Teriyaki has Soy in it as well as Ginger, Sake, and sugar... I think that would give you a much more flavorful dish

I'm not an expert on Korean cuisine but, thinking about the flavours of Kimchi, I'd be tempted towards Teriyaki with a dash of Sweet & Sour.

Soy-teriyaki blend for sure.
But if you asked my boy he'd say put ketchup on it lol

I wouldn’t use the teriyaki alone, but any of the others might work.

I have dark soy , light soy , chilli oil and sesame oil …and teriyaki

Throw some fried garlic in there in oil before you add the sauce
@scorpiolovedeep Didn’t have garlic, alas.

STOP calling your posts "weird" they are very sensible😁 I think Teriyaki or Sweet and Sour

Sweet and sour plus that sweet teriyaki (maybe even a pink of soy)

I also eat beef stew with onions on rice...
add soy-teriyaki to a sesame oil base!!

was it good in the end?
@Yulianna Yes ! The soy-teriyaki blend worked really well.

Worcester sauce >?
@Lesulk11234 I listed what I have.

They all sound good to me...😜
Tamarind water/yoghurt/tomato puree/(white vinegar perhaps) most likely will get you the needed taste of sauce.
@sspec Alas, I did not have those ingredients. Maybe next time.
Kimchi…if you don’t mind the heat
@Ghostinthemachine I didn’t have that.
Teriyaki and sriracha 🥴
