My ex's birthday is tomorrow and she has been having a bad couple of weeks, so I and my stepdaughter made her a cake... a vegan carrot cake with vegan cream cheese frosting, and did some amateurish decorating. No snide comments, we think we did good for a couple of nonbakers.
@Notsimilarreally Yeah, the carrot on top makes it fun. The mess though.... I'm ignoring it bit it will take me longer to clean up than it did to decorate the cake🤣

Like me for example: For my ex’s birthday I sent him a nice bath bomb. …well, [i]you[/i] would probably call it a toaster, but hey, it’s the thought that counts right?
@iamonfire696 No... I've made a cake before, but never the whole vegan thing, and never tried to make vegan fondant and cut-out shapes to decorate with.
I now know why these cake decorators charge so much.
It was all Google and trial and error, but still, it was fun.
