Very probably, since I gave it up almost a decade ago. But it would depend on how/why they didn't drink -- if the person were one of those self-righteous, preachy types about not drinking, no.

In the past, I found myself attached to a family of heavy drinkers and drug users. I found that drinking and drug use in the ex, whom I used to date before marriage, eventually created in him an insanity that I never want to see again.

That being said, I would not want to date a tight a$$, or someone who was no fun. if I were willing to date again, I would look for someone who knew how to laugh and have fun [i]without[/i] the booze and the drugs.

Sure. It’s the ideal situation. Even though I’m a casual drinker I don’t mind drinking alone.

My wife has largely given up alcohol. She will sometimes take one sip from whatever I am drinking.

I am perfectly happy having wine or beer with dinner while she drinks water, and I am fine sipping a drink in the evening while reading a book or talking with her, even if she is not drinking.
