Somebody once served me kefir.

Nope.
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
@DrWatson I tried and liked it. Unfortunately with colon cancer I later read that it can do things to the immune system like create mouth sores and weaken immunity. I had been drinking it a few times a week and got sick with a cold in December, first time in 4 years. The I read about kefir having l. Rhuteri bacteria in it. It is beneficial for most people’s immune systems and especially those with breast cancer….but a big no for anyone with colon cancer. The mouth sore stopped after I stopped drinking it. My oncologist and nurse didn’t even know about this till I told them.

Cold cereal.
Doughnuts are my close second.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
Anything made of piggy.

At first, I stopped eating pork products because I had a Jewish cellmate who was expert at providing reasons why pork is not good for the human body. Over the years, I've learned enough about pigs that I would never willingly eat one again. But also, I've found out that if you stop eating a certain type of meat for a long enough time, your body loses the ability to digest it. In other words, pork makes me sick.
@LordShadowfire I moved to turkey sausage and bacon, breakfast items were the last pork I used to eat.

For me, it took having a friend with a pet pig.
They really are smarter than some dogs.

I rarely eat an actual breakfast. I practice intermittent fasting.

Least favorite hypothetical choices would be anything with sugar, carbs, or red meat.
Any sugar breakfast. No cereal no milk no cocoa. Only jam can have an occasional pass

I’m not a fan of oatmeal.
I wouldn't eat oatmeal for decades but then I made some and mixed in various meats and raisins and it's really good.

@Sequoia51 I’ve had beans for breakfast, heated up on a wood stove outdoors and eggs and thin pieces of steak to go with them…was good that way.

Rice crispies with skim milk. That is almost ALL my mother would buy when I was growing up, because she was always on a diet. I remember feeling starved to death every day around 10 a.m.
Porridge... why that Dickens kid wanted "more, please" I could never fathom.
