I love my own homemade cream of mushroom soup, with hot Italian sausage slices, collard greens, and beans. It's creamy, and tasty!

I love caldo de res (beef & vegetable soup). I love adding lots of lime. Sometimes I'll even serve myself just the broth with some carrots since that's my favorite out of everything.

I love olives and seasoned chic peas which I've 'roasted' in the air fryer.

roasted duck on rice from a specific place. in my hometown. it's soooo gooood

i first heard about it whilst abroad one time - i met someone who happened to know the specific place i grew up. he couldn't stop raving about the duck place. turned out he was right

the staff there are so arrogant and even slightly racist. but like, ugh - they can afford to be ..if they became a franchise they would not fail

I go back to my childhood simplicity peanut butter and jelly, its plain and simple and comforts me.
