It’s fine. I’d rather have a curry if I fancy something spicey.

When I was in Europe in the early 60's the only Mexican (well, U.S. version of Mexican) food was two restaurants in Madrid, next to each other. Both owned by a retired US Navy Petty Officer. Similarly, there were guys in my Kaserne in Frankfurt, Germany, which would pool their money to take a taxi to Heidelberg for the only A&W Rootbeer Drive In. They all thought we Yanks were as nuts as you think of Brits eating Tacos.
I also remember being in Minneapolis back when the closest you could get to Mexican was canned tortillas at a specialty grocery.

I’m chuckling because my friend, an English expat, makes fish and potato tacos (she uses taco seasoning and sauce, but still) I teased her about making everything around fish & chips, but damned if they weren’t delicious ! 😄

Best to avoid it anyway, all that money spent just for it to come out of you like lava in an hours time.
