@exexec Used to assist manage a Scholsky's in Wichita back in 1997, one of three locations franchised by an owner based in Topeka. After a month I was working 80+ hours a week, while the manager was only pulling 35 to 40 hours. After I found out on my paycheck that my raise was not on it I quit. I called the franchise owner's office, who launched an internal investigation, discovered the three local managers were in conspiracy with the regional owner to wage theft new assistant managers, none of them could keep one past three weeks for over a year. The franchise owner had them all arrested and charged with employment fraud and wage theft, and all of us former assistant managers, almost 40 in all, got checks for about $650 for back pay, it was kept out of the local news.
