The yolk contains ALL the cholesterol. You can tone that down by mixing 3 egg whites with one egg yolk.
@4meAndyou how? The only reason it’s 4 eggs is because that’s all I would eat for breakfast. I don’t know much about how to do that though that you suggested

@justasmalltowngirl90 half a cup of egg whites = 4 eggs
Egg and Brains have the most Cholesterol, think it is Yak Brains with the most. It's very important to eat alot of it for heart health, as well as embyro development.
About 12 years ago the precise opposite advice was given until it was repeatedly ahown dodging cholesterol made cholesterol worst in the body, because the body sotres it in the veins during dietary scarcity. You increase your diet of it, less clogs the veins.
Unless a doctor specifically says no, I wouldn't avoid them. Humans are omnivors, and our ancestors have been omnivors since they were rats preying on dinosaur eggs. We are exceptionally well adapted to egg eating, and anyone telling you otherwise in a generic sense is a crack head. Eggs are our superfood. We absorb more protein feom them than any other food. As mammals, at what point were we (our lineage) not eating eggs?

@CrazyMusicLover Hubby and I each have three large eggs scrambled in butter nearly 365 days a year. Our doc calls it the perfect food.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@katydidnt That would be too much for me.
katydidnt · 61-69, F
@CrazyMusicLover I get that. We're just too fond of the butter&eggs flavor.

Food cholesterol and blood serum cholesterol are two different things. The cholesterol from the eggs is not harmful. Eggs are a good source of essential fatty acids. You're okay to eat four eggs.

Are you American? It’s the only place I’ve come across with an obsession with dietary cholesterol.
There is no link between dietary and blood cholesterol. Relax. Eggs are good for you!

I’m on cholesterol medicine simvastatin I think it’s called. I now eat fried egg whites. Tastes better too in my opinion 👍🙂

It has a lot to do with what those hands were fed. Vegetarian raised cage free hens have lower cholesterol
RedBaron · M
They have that much whether or not you scramble them.
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
Why are u worry about it
@smileylovesgaming because it’s way more cholesterol than my app says I should have.
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
@justasmalltowngirl90 who cares what a app says if u want 2 or 4 or 6 eggs just eat them
