Water is odorless and tasteless, but our bodies crave and needs water 24/7.

My wife says this all the time. It's water. It's supposed to be cool and refreshing. Not tasty. It's not a milkshake for gods sake!
LilPrincess · 41-45, F
There is plain water in my coffee 😒
It tastes like water.🤷‍♂️
Best water I ever had was from a spring flowing out of a cliff face in the mountains. It was ice cold and it tasted so good.
Musicman · 61-69, M
Plain water is the main thing I drink and what I am drinking right now.
walabby · 61-69, M
I am fortunate to live in a part of the world where the rain water in uncontaminated, and that is what I drink. It has the most exquisite flavor...
walabby · 61-69, M
@swirlie It falls, is directed into a storage tank, and then is consumed unfiltered..
swirlie · 31-35, F
@walabby
Why do you think that rain water is uncontaminated when it falls from the sky where you live?
walabby · 61-69, M
@swirlie I live near the east coast of Australia, and the winds that bring the rain come across the entire Pacific ocean. There is hardly any industry near me. Any risk is very minimal.
Lilyb · 22-25, F
All the time!!
calicuz · 51-55, M
I'm shocked as well. They ask me what water tastes like I say "it tastes like water," and they tell me "it has no taste."

Well you turn on the tap and you drink the water
i like a little water in my fluoride..
Thatsright · 61-69, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout You like dolphin in your canned tuna?
Sevendays · M
Lots of it, ice water mainly.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
Alisha233 · 31-35, F
@MasterLee Spring water would be better for you as distilled doesn't contain minerals.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@Alisha233 so some say
DiegoWolfe · 36-40
I LOVE the flavor of plane tap water! The only time i couldn't stand the taste of tap water was when i had my colon rupture and i was on hella heavy antibiotics and it fucked my taste buds up bad
ArishMell · 70-79, M
I don't drink plain water - straight from the tap - regularly but I've certainly no qualms about doing so.
trackboy · 22-25, M
@ArishMell What do you drink? burbon?? wine??? You can get those carbon water filters that hook up to the faucet. They get the chemicals and particles out of the water making it safe to drink. 🍪
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@trackboy Mainly tea, often coffee, sometimes fruit juice. I don't drink anything alcoholic now very often at all and then it's usually ale. I like the odd glass of wine with a meal. or whisky but those are rare.

I don't need filter our tap-water. It is safe to drink as it is, and holds nothing that a filter can remove.

It has been treated properly to make it drinkable directly from the tap. The water in our area is "hard" (i.e. contains dissolved calcium carbonate from the Chalk hills that are most of its source aquifer) but does not contain solid particles. The only artificially-added chemical is a tiny trace of chlorine, <2ppm, as a precautionary disinfectant.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Yes but I've become vary about it. They found Legionella in our residential area a month ago. 😬 I prefer tea.
darkmere1983 · 46-50, M
i can't now, i never liked it and are used to bottled spring water flavoured.
@darkmere1983 That says to me that your local municipal water has an off taste. Not all "tap water" tastes the same!
Yes, on occasion, but I at home I generally prefer unsweetened iced tea with a splash of lemon.
RenFur · 70-79, M
Almost. I like to put a shake of salt and a pinch of pepper in the odd glass...
I crave it every day. I drink at least 5 glasses of plain water a day.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
Yeah. I have pretty great tap water where I'm from.
I drink plain water daily...usually a out 32 oz.
Ducky · 31-35, F
What am I, a plant? 🤨
@Ducky You know what they say about a duck out of water ...
Alisha233 · 31-35, F
@Ducky no, but as a human that is made up of roughly 60% of water it's good to replenish.
Ducks are 52%.
MrsMONAKanful · 36-40, F
When there’s no Coke I drink water
11knaves11 · 41-45, M
Room temp or slight chill....never cold
smiler2012 · 56-60

Eddiesolds · 61-69, M

Neman1622 · 41-45, M
As long as it's Evian
AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
60-80oz a day
HeavenBesideYou · 56-60, F
I drink a lot of water. When it’s hot out I prefer it cold, but when it’s cold out I prefer it room temperature. I’ll drink it though, regardless of my preferences year round.
Before I go to bed or during the night, yes. Otherwise KoolAid of orange flavor. Plain tap water is boring even when ice cold.
I need more, but don't often. It has a weird metallic taste, wherever I get it. Too much and it makes me feel sick.
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
water only tastes good when ur thirsty lol
Thatsright · 61-69, M
Keeps your body functioning, water intake.
ABCDEF7 · M
I like plain water because it's tasteless.
I would never drink water that came from a plane ✈️
Iwillwait · M
All day long.
My tap water has an unpleasant taste. I wish it were "tasteless". I use a filter, or occasionally buy bottled.
lumberjackslam · 41-45, M
Just like my ancient ancestors, the fish
DDonde · 31-35, M
Yep, I make an effort to.
Chickie · F
I hate drinking water that's why I use those zero sugar flavor packets so I can stay hydrated or drink Aloe Vera water when I am able to.
swirlie · 31-35, F
No, I never drink plain water. How boring! I mix coffee with plain hot water to take away the plain taste of cold water, then I add milk to the coffee to take away the bitter taste of coffee, then I have a plain bran muffin to take away the milky taste found in coffee, then I drink a bottle of charcoal filtered water to take away the cake taste that plain bran muffins leave behind.
Hanginginthere · 31-35, M
needing flavored water all the time is a bit ridiculous, but yes I drink plain water
