Reasons to NOT skip breakfast?

We should not skip because Our bodies need vitamins and sustenance upon waking. We all just had a 10 hour ish fast. For breakfast I may make a berry smoothie..mmm!!

@thewindupbirdchronicles No..but its been ten hours in the morning since I had dinner. Note I said 10 hour fast, not sleep🙂. I sleep 6 hours.
@Coralmist I snack in the evening. And I've heard it expressed before for people about water to remember when they sleep they went on a fast from hydration.... so that's where my mind was thinking 🧐

Reason to skip breakfast: Not hungry, don't have the time.

What am I having today? A plate of home fries covered with sausage gravy and topped with two scrambled eggs and a side of bacon.

Breakfast has been scientifically evaluated as essential to give you the best start to your day.
Many recommend slow release carbs found in things like porridge; fresh fruit; non-starchy vegetables (spinach; tomatoes; kale; asparagus etc) quinoa.....
especially if your last meal was more than six hours ago.

I tell myself that If I eat something even just a few bites for breakfast, or bring a smoothie to work with me, I'll feel just a little better and be better then without.

I had leftover broccoli soup.

If I planned to get up early and be on the road by 6:30 or 7:30 for work or an appointment, I'd need the energy. Otherwise, if my morning is unscheduled, I leave my nauseous stomach alone. It doesn't want food forced on it until 11:00 a.m. usually. Today, is a quiet Sunday, so I'm just having coffee.

depends on which breakfast really 😌

sadly nothing lol, i havent eaten anything other than a small bowl of salad yesterday in the past week or so, unless you count soda, alcohol and water, times be rough rn lol.

I don't eat before midday during the week. Although I only have a part-time, four-hour job in the morning, it is pretty active, and I don't want to burping and bringing up wind.

I'd be very hungry if I skipped breakfast. I'm having 2 eggs, over hard, 3 strips of very crispy bacon and homemade white bread toast. Also OJ.

It’s ok if I do t have anything going on, but if I have need mental/physical things going on then I need to fuel and to not be distracted by hunger pings.
