fitness help/advice?

I'm broke and find it hard to buy healthy foods, it all just seems so pricey and so when I do buy it, its only enough to last a day or 2. I'm not even sure what I should be eating everyday so I'm probably leaving important stuff out. I also don't know what exercises I should be doing or if I can get fit with no equipment. I just want to be healthy/stronger, any advice? im 5'5, 130 pounds, how much calories should i get per day?

Few tips

Oatmeal is easy and cheap, I use water and protein powder with peanut butter and some seeds/nuts and a banana, put a pan lid over the bowl and it'll cook in 3 minutes without a stove.

Lentils are a really good option, look up Dahl recipes on youtube, mostly just spices in lentils and water reduced to a creamy dhal with veg.

Canned chick peas are good, you can make falafel with some spices, a blender and some herbs, get some wholemeal wraps or sweet potato wraps and have falafel wraps.

Brocolli is cheap, you can roast most veg and it'll be nice. Chicken thigh is cheaper and good to prep with. Brown rice is better for you and more filling.

Get a ziplock bag and put all your veg waste in it then freeze it, add to it over time and make a stock with it.

Eggs, salad, tuna in water , almonds . No bread or potatoes
With chicken, variety of veggies, rice or pasta and a variety of seasonings/marinades you can make many different dishes that are healthy.

Simple quick paced walking 30-45 minutes or more on 5 or more days a week will make an impact. Research plyometric, isometric and body weight exercises .. little equipment and you can do at home.

MyFitnessPal and other tracker apps can help you target calories for the pace of weight loss you desire, track your meals, exercise, weight, etc. Check for low cost equipment/gear by buying used or shopping at DollarTree or other discount stores.

First, your height/weight ratio is fine. It's actually about in the middle of what is considered healthy.

We could all, or most all use toning and cardio, but you really don't need equipment for that. Goggle "body toning for women without equipment".

The food suggestions others have given you are good. Id add legumes, like black beans, etc. Good fiber and iron source. Inexpensive too. Ive got a couple of good meatless (less cost) recipes and there are plenty on the internet.

Just keep doing YouTube searches to find information you want.. trying to ask other people online can usually just end up in wasting your time..

Really u don't need to buy equipment at all. There is a lot of people on Instagram and YouTube that do workout videos for free. That is what I do

Start a Pinterest account and have it focus on exercises, it shows a lot of workout work out options with no equipment, just using your own body or maybe a chair and some basic free weights.

The fastest way to lose 10 pounds within 10 days, is to completely lay off ALL salt, ALL sugar and ALL carbonated soda drinks. The definition of healthy food is food that contains no ADDED salt or sugar. Many foods contain natural salt and sugar, but that's okay because your body needs salt anyway, but never from a salt shaker.

Avoid salted butter, avoid Chinese food sauces, avoid ketchup because it contains a ton of sugar, avoid French fries entirely and ALL fast-food from McDonald's.. their food contain trans fats which are extremely hard for the body to get rid of because they become absorbed into the cells of your body.[/c]
