Does it take 18 months for twins to be born? Or 9?

SophSmiles · 22-25, F
18, the second twin doesn’t start until the first twin is fully brewed

@SophSmiles says someone who knows noting about pregnancy.
The human gestation period is 9 months long regardless of whether it’s 1, 2 or multiple births.

@meJess Yep, gestation is that long.

Neither. Twins are life sentences, served concurrently..😷
9 months even if they are triplets
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
Gestation time is no different. Usually the more babies, the smaller they are.

Octomom babies ranged from 1 pound 8 oz to 3 pounds 4oz. Note this was IVF insemination.

Normal average single baby is between 7 pounds 2 oz and 7 pounds 6 oz.
