How old was u when your parent's left u home alone

I’m the eldest and I was babysitting my younger siblings since about 9 or 10

I was left to my own devices when I was 3-4. Somewhere in there. From then on

I was never home alone. I have three sisters, two of them older than me.

My parents never did that. They divorced in 1980 when I was 12 and my sister was 8, and then it was just mum and she'd already stopped working so she was always at home and I was never there by myself. I left home to live with my first partner (ex since 2012) in 1997 the same year I first got my drivers license (but I still didn't own a car until about 2003).

Well I had older siblings so maybe when they were 12 or something but in the 80s things were different. Kids had common sense.

I really don't know but I think I was too old to cry like I did. 🙈 Maybe 7? 8?

I guess around 5 or 6. My sister was born when I was 7 I I know I babysat her.
