Even teens need supervision.

I feel like so much depends on the family. Some families want their teenagers to still be supervised. Others think they are mature.

I was staying all alone at home (even during nights) since I was 14... here I am, grown up with NO issue 💋

So more a companion now than a babysitter? It's nice to know that there is someone around who cares for you 🙂

As a teen you are not really mature enough to be alone for long periods of time while your parents are abroad. Having an adult around is a necessity. Especially if you get sick or something happens to you. She sounds like a really nice person. Having a few rules to follow isn't a bad idea either. If you break one of Sarah's rules what usually happens?

Well how old are you and if you did not have someone with you might get lonaly and afraid at night this way you have some one to talk to and to keep you company and someone that cooks and clean for you . Do not look as it as a babysitter look at is has someone to keep you company.

Depending on your level of maturity your parents seem it necessary especially when abroad.

Good lessons in life for once you do get out on your own college or work wise, enjoy it while it is still easy for you.
