Teenager with a babysitter

I am a teen and I still have a babysitter. My parents sometimes have to go abroad for a longer time and then they have a babysitter for me. Her name is Sarah and she has been my babysitter for like 6 years now. She is really nice and she always cooks nice things. But she is also serious sometimes and she is big on rules and respect

I feel like so much depends on the family. Some families want their teenagers to still be supervised. Others think they are mature.

@sarah91 When the parents are going abroad I think it's best to have someone keeping an eye on the kids. If anything happens someone has to make the emergency medical decisions.
