Being in an economic environment that's engineered so that the only way to survive is to work nonstop, leaving no room for people who may struggle with a disability which is not widely recognize but is very real and makes it very difficult to do so. Being surrounded by a system and people who say that if you can't do that, it's your own fault, you're just lazy and you don't deserve a decent life.
People thinking there is only one way to live life and if anyone deviates from it at all, they are doing life wrong.
Living in a culture where people misunderstand world history, geopolitics, and domestic issues so profoundly that they genuinely believe the harmful policies they support — which destroy innocent lives and cause a great degree of heartbreaking suffering — are good, and that anyone who opposes them must just hate America.
Being trapped in a society that expects everyone to function the same way, condemns people who can't, and then becomes fiercely defensive of itself when its assumptions are challenged.

@1490wayb Thank goodness we are not forced to sit through that here. Some UK channels now have an average of 12min/clock hr across the day, the main commercial channels (ITV, C4, C5, S4C) are restricted to average 7mins/clock hr across the day - 8mins max. No more than three breaks/clock hr.

I don't really like the way our own fellow countrymen seem to hate our country
I always wonder why they don't leave- I suppose some of it is economics and they can't.
They're very few countries that I would want to live in besides the United States because they have far less freedoms than we do.
And this is not saying the United States is perfect I do not believe that there's many problems here but what country doesn't have problems?

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout It’s so nasty that my city is having the water tower next to the campus painted with the Dr. Pepper logo. The city gets a half million dollars for doing so.
