Who do you look like most?

I have my mother’s features and my father’s coloring. Because of the latter, people used to say I resembled my father. I first began seeing my mother in the mirror at about age 40, but since her passing, her surviving family members are really seeing and commenting on it.

A couple of years before her death, someone took a photo of us at a family reunion. The two of us were sitting on a bench and we were laughing heartily together. That was when I could really see what her family is noticing now.

My mom. She passed in 1991 and after I found her family and met them, her mom was flabbergasted at how much I looked like her. She was fighting tears the whole time we visited.

They say my mom but my hair is not as dark and it's not curly. My mom's hair was black. Her eyes were also dark brown...mine are light brown.

My dad had dark hair, but his eyes were blue. Light blue.

I think it's both

I'm a mixture of both, but probably more like my mom because of my colouring. Sometimes I see my Dad's face in the mirror.

People who knew my dad when he was younger always said I looked a lot like him but we have very different builds these days so it’s hard for me to see it

But I do see my mother and nana in some of my features as I age

I loved them both, but dad just a little more. 😌

All of us look like our late Dad. We didn't get anything from Mom. Not even the good qualities. Dad was a strong influence.
