Because I am grateful for what I got and I'm happy my neighbors are successful and happy. We have wonderful neighbors.

Because people who do that are never satisfied and are always miserable. Can’t enjoy life or love living that way. And it can lead to some very evil things when a person dwells on what others have instead of being grateful for what they got.

Because you will never be happy looking at those who have more. Count your own blessings instead, and think about the things you have that others do not.

Because He has given them what He wants them to have, which is not for you. He has given you what he wants you to have, not for them. It goes both ways.

I covet anyone who has a donkey. Oxen are too prone to drowning while fording the river.
