Because He has given them what He wants them to have, which is not for you. He has given you what he wants you to have, not for them. It goes both ways.
However let's face it, no one is immune. My neighbor does have an awesome fence, and I do like it - alot. But in the end it's just a thing. And it certainly won't last forever. Our treasure is not to be found here but somewhere else, and never ever rusts.
@PatKirby You can admire his fence but you don’t actually want his fence for your own yard do you? You might want a similar fence for yourself…that is not the same as coveting.
