Is taking your son to the barbers an important father/son moment?

My grandmother usually took my brother & I. I don’t think our dad ever did that

It was in my family. Pop took his only son to the barber shop for his first haircut, the way Mom would take their three daughters to the beauty salon, and afterwards they would have lunch together.
