No.. It is however considered extremely poor taste. Something not even some Americans would stoop to once they hit puberty. I think in their case they may claim some excuse through amount of hormones pumped into the meat sold for comsumption..😷

Up until maybe 2 or 3 years ago I found it to be disgusting but it is my husband's favorite pizza so although I still don't love it and I usually force him into eating the pizza I want I have tastes it a few times and now tolerate it. It's OK with Chicken Pizza and Jalapenos and Dominoes and Pizza Hut both have a variety with pineapple that's tolerable.
