Cornmeal (polenta), canola (rapeseed) oil, 12 teaspoons, and a foldable footstool. Bit random 😆

EZ Cup filters for our coffee maker. I use cheap coffee instead of Keurig cups.

@swirlie When it comes to finance, I have always been frugal. There are exceptions. My wife and I went out to eat for our anniversary last evening. The meal cost more than our entire honeymoon, so I am capable of spending a lot of money on special occasions. You do not know where I ended up in life, so I would appreciate your not making judgments based on my taste in coffee.

Where you ended up in life is living your life how you have chosen to live it. You either got that way from how you think, or you ended up that way from how you were otherwise influenced. For me to bring that to your attention as I've done is not making judgements about you based on your taste in coffee, but it is an acknowledgement from me that I empathize with the lifestyle you've chosen for yourself. That's not being subjectively judgmental on my part, but it is simply calling your chosen standard of living what it is regardless of the brand of coffee you don't drink.

@Nimbus I really know very little about it. The brand is Canoly.
Tbh, I teased her about. She and her daughter bought all these fruits and veggies to juice with. I said, “There’s OJ in the fridge. It cost $5. How much is each one of these? (Points to what appears to be new glass bottles too) $20 a drink?
They both chimed ‘…that I don’t get the point. It’s about the lifestyle and being healthy.’ All I could think to myself was ‘I workout more that both of you put together. One hot yoga class and now we’ve got professionals in the room.’ 😂
But, I was smart enough to keep my mouth shut. 😉

I use Amazon all the time AND I get free delivery right to my door. The last order I placed was for a very specific brand of coffee I like. I typically order 8 bags of coffee beans at a time and grind it myself at home. I placed my order with Amazon last Sunday afternoon and by 2pm the next day, a cardboard box containing my coffee was sitting on my front porch. The great thing about it was, that I paid slightly less per bag from Amazon and I didn't have to drive to the usual place in my car to buy it.
candycane · 36-40, F
Never used Amazon never will
@candycane I just got an indoor/outdoor bug zapper, the woman across the hall from me has a filthy apartment, you can smell her cat boxes through ger door, every so often a fly from her place gets into my apartment, a few days ago I got swarmed with about eight of them, I ordered the zapper with two day shipping, with prime it was at no cost for shipping. I got it on friday, within a few minutes of plugging it in I heard ten zaps.
A 10 foot indoor/outdoor heavy duty extension cord, so my indoor/outdoor bug zapper can reach the outlet from the ceiling hook.
