@Sunnykel76 It really does. Beets contain a high level of oxylate, which contribute to the formation of kidney stones, which I'm prone to develop. But the worst thing for me to eat, for the same reason, is spinach, which I also love.

I haven't had beets or spinach (and many other kidney-stone-forming foods, in years.

But I would rather do without the foods I love than continue having kidney stones. Those are the worst. 😖
