Depends on the crime. I don't think my friends would put me in a position where I would have to lie in a way that goes against my nature

GuyWithOpinions · 31-35, M
Of course. How could you not?

Zaphod42 · 51-55, M
I’ll take the 5th on that
SomeIrishPerson · 31-35, M
Depends. Probably not. I don't much like lying.
SlippingAway · 46-50, F
Honest answer it would depend on what they did.

@SlippingAway ^ this
@SlippingAway So covering up for someone is worth prison time for perjury?
eyeno · M
Nope.....

If you did the crime own up to it, I'll lie for no one !

@Wiseacre My oldest stepsister is a retired county prosecutor for family court, she told me perjury is super simple to discover on cross examination, it's easy to mix up a liar by rephrasing questions or asking subtle ones, like Luke Wilson asking the pool boy who's his bf in Legally Blonde.

@NativePortlander1970 I thought it would be hard to prove beyond reasonable doubt. I wouldn’t want to lose my bf, or go to jail☹
@Wiseacre If your bf told you to lie under oath in court, or else, he's not worth keeping to begin with.
