Frequently as a child. I got used to it eventually and stopped counting on people.

Yeah.. But that's only natural.. People are just human beings, they forget.. I reminded the person of how we where connected ( an old school class mate ) their face brightened once they remembered me.. So in the end it was a good experience, 👍

I'll just say that it has felt that way at times in my life, and no more so than in the last 6 years. Not by everyone, but by people I thought I mattered to.

Yes. In business, there was this one guy that I worked with about 20 years ago, and he totally forgot everything about me and the project. I didn't take it too personally, because he didn't even remember the building or anything...🤷‍♂

I'm sure I have but I've forgotten a lot of people too. Life is long, you keep some with you but with time a lot just fall away.

It happens often, it does hurt a bit but I can't change who I am because of a few who couldn't care less.

Just the ones who have Alzheimer's. I do not mind because it is like making a new friend every time I see them. :D
