Yes. A miracle of modern science. Twin grandaughters, born at 25 weeks, weighing just over and just under 500grams each. I first saw them at two days old, in thier humicribs, covered in tubes and wires, with transparent skin and small enough to fit in my hand and I KNEW they were never going to make it. It was heartbreaking. A dozen times one would start to fail, the NICU staff would almost will her to rally and she would. then the other would do the same. I knew if we got one through this, she would have all sort of problems and challenges through being born so early and such strong interventions. Three months they are in the NICU unit, with my daughter pushing to get them well enough to come home without oxygen..
Today they are thirteen year old teenagers who tower over their grandmother and are killing it in year seven at secondary school, when not glued to their phones and playing netball on the weekend..I have had my miracle..😷

Multiple times, I should have died. Even my birth was a miracle, because mom shouldn't have even had me, medically.
Yet not just by technology. Mom threw me out of a moving car, as a baby, just to save my life. It was a miracle that I didn't die then.

The a priori odds against me to ever have been born were astronomical. Exactly the right sperm (out of trillions) from my father had to get together with exactly the right egg (out of millions) from my mother to produce me rather than one of my potential siblings.
The odds are roughly the same as correctly picking a particular grain of sand on the surface of the Sahara in one try.

@Allelse As a child we had a highly respected parish priest who was asked by people who were having strange experiences to stay overnight in their home. The following Sunday he made the strange things he believed he had experienced. the subject of his sermon. He was convinced there was something inexplicable. As far as I remember the residents moved out and the house subsequently burned down. I cannot vouch for the last bit but remember his sermon. Of course he could have been hallucinating.

@alan20 I suffer from seizure induced hallucinations, but this was nothing like that, and it was shared by the entire household. Even our pets saw it happen at the same time we did, except for the ferrets they never noticed anything. I don't know what caused things to go moving around on their own, so violently, I only use the term poltergeist so people know have some idea of what I expirenced. I don't believe it was ghosts or goblins or demons. There's a scientific explanation I just don't know what it is.

@rinkydinkydoink Then nobody should play the lottery. The odds are against anyone winning the main prize. That many do is against the laws of nature.
