Thinkerbell · 41-45, F
@Platinum

Glad you made it, Platinum.

Sorry about your brother. 😢
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@Platinum I'm sorry, I'm confused. The miracle is your brother died?
Platinum · M
@LordShadowfire no i survived
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@Platinum So the miracle from God is that you were a successful birth. Like eight billion other humans on the planet.
swirlie · 31-35
@LordShadowfire
The miracle is that Platinum was the 'chosen one' of the two in their situation.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@swirlie I'm aware. Wasn't very miraculous for his brother.
swirlie · 31-35
@LordShadowfire
Well actually it WAS very miraculous for his brother because his brother was a part of that miracle as it was happening and so was Platinum a part of that same miracle.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@swirlie Okay. There has now been an attempt to gaslight me into thinking it's a miracle that somebody died.
swirlie · 31-35
@LordShadowfire
This is not about gaslighting, LordShadow! This is about identifying what a miracle actually looks like when they're presented to us.

What we are witnessing from Platinum's story was a miracle in the making. If you understood that we don't actually die when we appear to leave the lifetime, then you'd also understand that Platinum's brother did not turn out to be the loser in this miracle as you're otherwise attempting to portray him to be.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@swirlie I'm aware that this lifetime is not all there is. I've been presented with ample evidence of that. I've met spirits and demons and all sorts of weird critters. I'm just saying, the bar for a miracle has been set rather low here.
swirlie · 31-35
@LordShadowfire
How would you know if a bar for a miracle has been set rather low or not?
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@swirlie I've been led to believe that the definition of a miracle involves a deity. Usually, it involves the deity of the Christian system. And even though I've seen some stuff that most people would scoff at, I've never seen evidence of him.
swirlie · 31-35
@LordShadowfire
Again I ask, how would you know if a bar for a miracle has been set rather low or not?
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@swirlie Objection, your honor. Asked and answered.
swirlie · 31-35
@LordShadowfire
Not answered, don't kid yourself.

Who put YOU in charge of deciding if a bar for a miracle has been set rather low or not?
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@swirlie I did. If God disagrees, he can come tell me.
