Every country has reached bad points throughout history so I wouldn't say never for any of them.

China? Damn. I mean they're kinda messed up right now but it's rich with history.

China, anywhere in the UK especially London, Australia, anywhere in the middle east, there's plenty of places, not even just countries. States here, too.

North Korea

China wouldn't worry me too much. Experience suggests that I can get along with Chinese people, and I'm reasonably confident in my ability to not offend people.

The countries that I most want to avoid are those where I'm in realistic danger of being robbed/murdered simply for existing there. For example, Somalia.

I tend to agree with you. Although, there are many places in China which I'm sure are very nice.

I feel the same about India. So much of the country is dirty and unhealthy. But, there are also some nice places.

Also, China has detained two Canadians without just cause for political reasons.

Would agree with China. Nice country in a way, but good plave to get arrested and jailed for life for doing nothing wrong

I like what Hannibal said, never say never. Governments change, regimes change but each country will have something unique to offer, the landscapes, culture, people, weather, cuisine.

I'm not opposed to visiting any country really... But as a woman, I'd only visit certain ones if I had friends/a man to go with

Russia. Pretty much every experience I have ever had with a Russian has been terrible.

I want to visit every country in the world maybe some very very briefly. I would even love to go on a day tour of North Korea but morally I can't feel comfortable with giving Kim Jung Un any money and I wouldn't want to stay more than 1 night at most. I want to see that huge museum with all the gifts that were given to his father. But I don't want to bow to his image. So probably I will never go there unless it becomes more open.

Turkey or Azerbaijan. Their blatant Armenophobia and denial of the Armenian Genocide means I'll never visit there, unless that changes.

i don't mind china - but i only go there for work, and i only see the prestigious and wealthy cities. Madagascar scares me with the revolutions and corruption - i'll never go there
