Sometimes on other days as well… though then it’s only called a roast… to mix it up… even have a chilli or a spaghetti bolognaise on a Sunday… living on the edge 🤣🤣

.weekends are a break for me cooking all week ..sometimes I'll bake just because I enjoy doing it ..the weekends are when i have time to do it

We did pheasant in a slow cooker today. Seven hours and it tasted delicious. We could have roasted it, but no idea how old the bird was andit could have been tough as old boots without a lot of cooking.

usually just a hearty southern breakfast/lunch (biscuits & gravy, eggs, hashbrowns or sautéed potatoes, bacon or sausage, toast /w jelly, etc.)
