No one has an addiction issue? Seriously)

I'm an alcoholic in recovery and I certainly am not here to judge,but if you're drinking to overcome emotional turmoil you might be heading for trouble. For many of us with drinking problems,what began as fun...morphed into fun with problems,which in turn led to simply problems. Easy does it.

Just remember to follow the suggested alcohol intake of no more than two drinks. Or you could do like i used to and just drink a whole 12 pack. LOL

No mate a few drinks is fine, but there are some good messages here that you have already read about how insidious alcohol can be.

It is surprising and frightening and kudos to the people who have kindly shared their experiences.

I used to have a drinking problem. People here can get judgy about it rather than caring. The way I feel is you do whatever you have to do to survive.

The stop drinking and workout what is going bad and maybe you could salvage it. Drinking never gave me a clear head when I drank.

I get so sick of people who are just so perfect in their own lives telling me what's wrong with mine. I'm not an alcoholic, but I've got other problem behaviors, and I literally got blocked by one person because I vent here sometimes. So I get it. Especially since it's a Saturday night.

Just have to remember, alcohol isn't a solution. Just a distraction.
