Whats the attraction in fireworks ?

My cats arent fans either

would rather donate the money to an animal shelter. rather than scare dogs and cats feed them and make them safe and secure

It could never happen today, but we had fun as kids with the firecrackers we got for Christmas. We would build forts and blow them up or blow up broken toys. We didn't have fancy fireworks. I agree with you. Fireworks displays are a waste of money.

Fireworks used to be much more than just a loud bang, they were amazing to look at. We always had a bonfire party on Guy Fawkes Night and the fireworks were the highlight, now they're just a huge bang and that's it so yeah, a boring waste of a lot of money.

I like the quiet ones, fountains mainly. They are just beautiful to look at.
The ones that bang scare dogs, so they should only be used at an isolated event.

No, no, you're doing it wrong. I grew up with three brothers. You're suppose to light them and throw them at each other.

Tell me about it .. and my hubby just spent almost $500 on fireworks yesterday…

Maybe someday the price of 50 lighted drones will cost the same as a pile of fireworks and people can switch.

Ask the Chinese. They first used them over a millenia ago.

Idk it’s fun for some people i guess.. traumatic for others
